Hand-Turned Lampshade Made from Regional Poplar Wood:
The wood of this lamp is beautifully translucent and finely turned. Like all our lamps, it provides a very warm and pleasant light in the room. It fits well above a dining or living room table. Its conical shape allows it to be hung relatively high without causing glare.
Material: We turn our lamps from regional poplar wood, as this type of wood is best suited for thin turning. Being a natural product, the grain of the wood varies from lamp to lamp, giving each piece its unique character.
Delivery Includes:
- Lampshade
- Compatible LED
- Brass mounting ring
- Brass E27 socket with pre-assembled fabric cable, 2m, in ivory color
Application Notes: Due to the heat generated by conventional incandescent or halogen bulbs, our lampshades are designed for use only with LED bulbs.
Please use only light sources from reputable manufacturers for optimal lighting results (e.g., Phillips LED bulb with 8W-13W, 2700K).
No special care of the wood is necessary.
A matching ceiling shroud is available in the lighting accessories category.

Shipping costs (including VAT)
Domestic deliveries (Germany):
We calculate shipping costs based on package size and weight. Our packaging prices are included in shipping and are as follows:
Package - max. 120 x 60 x 60 cm
up to 1kg – €6.50
up to 3kg – €10.00
up to 5kg – €12.00
up to 10kg – €15.00
up to 20 kg – €20.00
up to 31.5 kg – €25.00
Why are our prices higher than traditional standard shipping?
We attach particular importance to sustainable and safe packaging. Since our lamps are very fragile, they require special handling and packaging in order to survive shipping well.
Our experience shows that the bulb packing system is the safest way to ship a lamp. This way it is protected as best as possible. This means we use two boxes instead of just one. We also secure the inner box with specially made packaging corners. The inner one floats in the outer box and is therefore best protected from external damage.
All packages are automatically insured up to a value of €500. Additional insurance can be booked for €6.00.
(The prices are also based on DHL's current shipping prices and will be updated if necessary.)
Our workshops
All of our products are manufactured in our workshops in our small village of Seewalde. We work in different workshops so that we can produce as much as possible ourselves.
Wood workshop - for furniture, assembly and surface treatmentTurning workshop - in which lamps, mills, bowls and much more are turnedFine workshop - for lampshade assembly, for smaller metal work and for packaging and shipping
Our principles
Transparency in our work, our communication and our actions is very important to us. We are in personal contact with our customers and are happy to accommodate individual requests. Of course, this involves a little more waiting time.
We carry out our work, be it woodworking, precision work or the theoretical design of new products, with attention and care for each individual product.
Through quality and precise work, we create things that have a long lifespan. This is the only way we can live up to our demands. All products undergo our constant careful inspection and testing to ensure the quality of the work is at all times. Small errors can be identified and corrected quickly.
If there are small cosmetic defects, we will point them out in the text of the product and reduce the price - even if a repaired defect takes much more time than a product without defects. We treat our customers with honesty and transparency so that there are no unwanted surprises when purchasing.
