Product information spice mills
Manufacturing
Our spice mills are handcrafted, turned, sanded, and oiled three times. With their slender cylindrical shape, they fit comfortably in the hand. We produce our mills from high-quality materials, intended for everyday use.
The wood we use comes directly from the Mecklenburg Lake District region and is sourced from sustainable forestry. If it’s not, it’s clearly labeled and often recycled.
Each mill has unique wood grain, making every single one a unique piece.

The Ceramic Grinder
The high-quality ceramic grinder is taste-neutral and can be used for pepper, salt, as well as spices. It ensures efficient and even grinding of the material without sticking.
The grinding degree can be adjusted continuously via a knurled screw on the grinder cone.
Our spice mills are also equipped with an internal ball bearing made of hardened steel, making them even easier and smoother to turn. Around the bearing sits a ring of a different type of wood than the body, slightly recessed. The ring connects the head and body of the mill, which can be easily pulled apart for refilling thanks to the “Click” fastening system.
The Steel Grinder
The pepper mill is equipped with a high-quality conical grinder made of hardened special steel. It stands out for its high durability and excellent grinding performance, finely slicing the pepper rather than crushing it.
Here, the pepper is finely sliced instead of crushed—something that insiders and professional chefs favor in this premium grinding mechanism. The grinding degree can be adjusted via a knurled screw on the grinder cone.
